Selank and Semax are synthetic peptide analogues studied through distinct and incompletely characterized neurobiological pathways. Proposed effects involve neurotrophic, monoaminergic, immune, and stress-response signaling, but mechanisms and clinically relevant exposure-response relationships remain unsettled.
A plausible pathway is not the same as a demonstrated clinical outcome. Mechanistic, animal, and human findings are labeled separately.

Human literature exists for each compound, but much is older, small, region-specific, or difficult to generalize. Direct controlled evidence for the combined Selank-plus-Semax product is especially limited.

The combination is not established to treat anxiety, depression, ADHD, cognitive impairment, stroke, or traumatic brain injury. Product purity, formulation, route, and equivalence to research preparations are major uncertainties.
